Finally at the end of the summer of 2022, we had pulled together the cash required, had the well and septic tested, and finally moved our rig onto our little piece of heaven. Then began the process of buying a generator to run the well, and the satisfying labor of cutting in a few paths, and eventually building our “Flintstone table” from cannabis stakes and branches found on the property.

We moved in to find there still was cleanup to do but mostly small stuff. Our patio turned out to be quite the gathering place. You can see the “Flintstone” table in several shots. The last photo is of our sewer hose which as you can see has several holes where a bear bit into it. Don’t ask.
